The beauty of this space is that it’s super diverse. You can be in a nonprofit, in finance, in tech, or even running your own thing—what matters is that your work has a real-world impact. Here are some of the most common areas:

1.  Nonprofits & NGOs: Think UN, Red Cross, or local community organizations working on education, health, or human rights.

2. Impact Investing & ESG: If you love numbers but also care about the world, this is where finance meets impact—funding businesses that do good.

3. Sustainability & Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): Helping companies be better—whether that’s reducing waste, improving workers’ rights, or building ethical supply chains.

4. Social Enterprises & Startups: Running (or working for) a business that’s about more than just profit—think fair trade coffee brands, climate tech startups, or microfinance platforms.

5. International Development & Philanthropy: Big donors and global programs tackling systemic issues like poverty, education, and healthcare.
